Manufacturing Services

PCB Fabrication & PCBA Assembly Services

Six manufacturing services under one production programme — from bare board fabrication through surface mount and through-hole assembly to test and final box build.

One-Stop Manufacturing

Six Services, One Production Programme

You can buy the complete chain from a single supplier, or pick only the stages you need. Either way the board stays inside one documented production flow.

PCB Fabrication and PCBA Manufacturing are two different services. PCB Fabrication produces the bare board — drilled, plated and surface finished, with no components fitted. PCBA Manufacturing then assembles components onto that board and tests the result. Ordering both together means one supplier is responsible for the finished assembly.

01 PCB Fabrication

Bare printed circuit boards, fabricated to your Gerber data and stack-up. Multilayer boards from 2 to 32 layers are produced through our own fabrication capability and qualified manufacturing partners, so the right process and lead time can be matched to your project — whether that is a quick-turn prototype or a repeat volume order.

PCB fabrication is a separate step from component assembly. It ends with a finished, unpopulated board: drilled, plated, patterned and surface finished, ready for solder paste printing.

Key capabilities

  • Multilayer boards from 2 to 32 layers
  • HDI PCB processing
  • Minimum via diameter 0.15 mm
  • Surface finishes: HASL, ENIG, OSP, hard gold
  • Prototype and quick-turn bare board supply
  • In-house capability and qualified manufacturing partners
Customer value One supplier for the bare board and the assembly means a single point of contact, matched lead times between board and components, and no gap in responsibility if a joint is not right. Send us your Gerber data and we will quote fabrication and assembly together.

02 SMT Assembly

Solder paste printing, SPI inspection, high-speed and multi-function placement, ten-zone reflow and AOI. Our surface mount lines are configured for the fine-pitch, high-density boards that modern products demand.

Print quality and placement accuracy are verified in line, not at the end of the process, so a drifting stencil or a mis-picked reel is caught while the batch is still on the machine.

Key capabilities

  • Minimum component size 01005 (0.4 × 0.2 mm)
  • BGA ball pitch down to 0.3 mm
  • QFN lead pitch down to 0.4 mm
  • Eight high-speed and six multi-function placement machines
  • Automatic solder paste printing with SPI verification
  • Lead-free SAC305 and leaded processes
Customer value High-density designs can be placed, reflowed and inspected without giving up yield. Print and placement defects are intercepted by SPI and AOI before the board reaches final assembly.

03 Through-Hole Assembly

Wave soldering and selective wave soldering for through-hole components, connectors and post-soldering operations — producing full, reliable solder joints on mixed-technology boards.

Selective soldering lets us solder individual through-hole positions without exposing the rest of the assembly to a second full wave, which matters on boards that already carry fine-pitch surface mount parts.

Key capabilities

  • Wave soldering and selective wave soldering
  • DIP insertion for connectors, relays, transformers and power devices
  • Hand soldering and rework for post-solder operations
  • Mixed SMT and DIP assemblies in one production flow
  • Solder joint inspection against IPC-A-610 Class 2/3
  • Fixture and pallet design for repeated builds
Customer value Power, connector and mechanical parts that cannot be surface mounted are handled in the same programme as the SMT work, so there is no second supplier to coordinate and no extra transport between stages.

04 PCBA Manufacturing

Complete assembly of your bare boards and bill of materials. We print solder paste, place and reflow the components, add the through-hole parts, test the assembly and hand back a finished, tested board.

This is the service that turns a bare board into a working assembly. If you prefer, you can supply the boards and components yourself and we will assemble and test them.

Key capabilities

  • Turnkey assembly: bare board, component sourcing and assembly
  • Consigned material handling with material traceability
  • Maximum PCB assembly size 350 × 250 mm
  • Panelisation by V-cut, stamp holes or bridge
  • Reflow profiles customised per product with first-article confirmation
  • RoHS-aligned lead-free processes
Customer value You place one order for boards, components and assembly. That shortens the supply chain, removes the risk of material sitting idle between suppliers, and leaves you with one traceable production record for the finished assembly.

05 Functional Testing

Boards are not released until they have been proved to work. Our test stage covers in-circuit testing, functional testing and burn-in, together with firmware programming and calibration where the product requires it.

Where a customer supplies a test specification, we build the test fixture and programme around it. Where none exists, we can agree a test plan at the quotation stage.

Key capabilities

  • ICT in-circuit testing
  • FCT functional testing against an agreed specification
  • Burn-in and ageing tests
  • Firmware programming and calibration
  • AOI optical inspection and X-ray inspection of hidden joints
  • Non-conforming units isolated and handled separately
Customer value Faults that only appear at power-up are found here rather than at your customer site. Our measured performance is a defect rate below 100 PPM with a shipment pass rate of 99.6%.

06 Box Build Assembly

Taking the tested assembly through to a finished, shippable unit: enclosure assembly, screw fastening, cable and connector fitting, labelling and final packaging.

Boards that need a mechanical housing, wiring harness or serial number can complete that step here rather than at your own facility.

Key capabilities

  • Enclosure and chassis assembly
  • Screw fastening, cable routing and connector fitting
  • Label application and serial number marking
  • Vacuum and anti-static packaging
  • Export packing and logistics coordination
  • After-sales support and shipment tracking
Customer value Your product arrives ready to stock or ship, rather than as a board that still needs a final integration step. One supplier, one shipment, one set of documentation.
